Some costs are paid by us on your behalf but are not within our control. Known as disbursements, they include the fees of cemeteries, crematoria, doctors, clergy, newspaper notices and memorials. The Trust Fund invests its funds in a cautious and balanced way with a view to maintaining a level growth at least equivalent to the increases in inflation.
If the increase in disbursements is greater than the Trust Fund growth there might be a balance to pay at the time of need.
